THE MAP
In Geneva in 1930, Mr. Boubier developed the famous "Café de Paris" butter, which met with immediate success and quickly became a worldwide benchmark. The jealously guarded secret of its ingredients guarantees its unique, inimitable character. In his Parisian-style restaurant in Geneva, he came up with the idea of serving beef entrecôte as the only dish, topped with this exquisitely subtle butter and accompanied by fresh French fries.
Today, in our restaurant and in our partner restaurants in Switzerland and abroad, our unique dish is served with the same care, accompanied by "Café de Paris" butter. The quality label guarantees its origin.
The Story
In 1981, the famous American novelist, Paul Erdman, wrote in his bestseller The Last Days of America: "We went to a restaurant near the train station, Café de Paris in Geneva, which has the best rib butter of any place on earth to eat."
What a wonderful compliment! To achieve such international recognition, Café de Paris has had to assert itself over the years, from 1930 to the present day, always with the same passion and respect for its customers.
